What is wire wrapping and weaving?

Wire wrapping and weaving are ancient methods of jewellery making. No glue or solder is involved. The wire is wrapped and twisted to form beautiful shapes and patterns, creating interesting and intricate pieces of wearable art.

How do I care for my purchases?

Please look after your one-off piece of jewellery. Chemicals in cleaning products (home and personal) can tarnish your jewellery as can perfume, skin and hair care products. Jewellery should not be worn in water.

All my silver, copper, and brass jewellery can be polished to a high shine with a silver cloth.

Oxidised pieces have been coated with Renaissance wax polish to protect the antique effect. Renaissance wax was developed by The British Museum for protection of fine art. You may wish to re-apply this coating in time.

How do you size for rings?

UK and EU ring sizes are given for each piece. Conversion charts are available online. The customer is responsible for sizing their own finger accurately.

Will I get the item on your website?

Our pieces are one-off creations, using unique natural stones and beads, and each is listed separately in our shop. You will receive the same piece shown on our website, although colours may vary due to different types of lighting and your monitor settings.
